The Facebook Challenge journey we tested in 2018 was unusual, but it worked.

We combined Facebook Lead Ads, Facebook Groups and Facebook Fundraising, because we knew people didn't want to leave the Facebook app. That's where their friends and family were spending their time. It was the place to be.

A lot has changed since 2018. Gradually but steadily people's behaviours have changed. And what we recommend to our clients has changed.

Given that the Facebook Challenge journey is still being used by hundreds of charities, we feel a nagging sense of responsibility to share why we're moving away from this.

We’re going to host a free 45 minute Zoom Webinar on Wednesday 11th June at 2pm GMT to discuss Facebook’s Challenges.

Some of the topics & insights we’ll cover off include:

    • Issues with Facebook Fundraising
    • Why we're concerned about Facebook Groups
    • How Facebook has changed for under 50s
    • Why you don’t need to worry about the recent Meta restrictions on website data
    • Rise of full-screen video
    • The alternative platform we recommend
