We underestimated the number of lives and families that are affected by dementia. It took us a while to see the potential and scale.

This gave the team at Dementia UK time to get a Virtual Challenges Team team in place.

When we ramped up the media spend and the number of challenges, they were ready. We raised £3m together in 2023 and are on course to do the same in 2024. 

The tangibility of Dementia UK's frontline services, inspires us. The money we raise means that more communities in the UK get specialist nurses. Families get expert advice, support and understanding at a time when they really need it.

In 2020, our income was £10.6m.

In 2021, it jumped to £15m.

In 2024, it will likely be £21.6m.
